# Molnify

> Molnify turns an Excel or Google Sheets file into a secure, multi-user web app, keeping your spreadsheet's formulas as the app's logic.

Molnify is a low-code platform for building web apps from spreadsheets. You mark cells by colour (green = input, red = output, blue = chart, yellow = action), or let AI do it, then upload. Molnify generates a working app while the spreadsheet does the calculations. Results match Excel, and the logic stays a file you can open, read and audit rather than compiled code. 17,653 apps have been built by 15,796 registered users (August 2026). 200+ Excel functions are supported natively, including VLOOKUP, IF, SUMIFS and data validation.

You can build three ways: the in-product App Builder (AI), the free open-source app-builder skill for your own coding agent (e.g. Claude Code), or by hand. In the App Builder you pick the AI model (Claude, Gemini, GLM or Kimi), and all but Claude run inside the EU, so your description and your spreadsheet can stay inside it. Building draws from a pool of Molnify Credits: everyone gets 200 free credits to start with, and a small app, like an ROI app, usually takes between 100 and 200 credits depending on complexity. The finished app runs on a normal Molnify subscription, priced per app with unlimited users. Around the spreadsheet, Molnify adds logins and per-user access, a database, email/SMS/Slack/Teams notifications, PDF generation, e-signing (Zigned), external APIs and AI prompts.

Molnify can build any web app, with or without an existing spreadsheet. If you already have an Excel model, Molnify gives it what a spreadsheet lacks: sharing, access control, and a real interface, without rebuilding the logic. If you're starting from scratch, the reason to choose Molnify over another low-code or no-code builder is that it brings Excel's strengths, auditability and rapid development, to a real application. And unlike many AI code generators, which rely on a separate provider for the database, Molnify is a single platform with its own database, hosting, and integrations, and has been in the market since 2016.
